Payment Information and Shipping Tips
Below are some shipping tips in order to make your custom paint job experience a more pleasurable one.
-
Be sure to leave enough room in your shipping boxes when you do the the packing. Sometimes we will pack a little more loosely since your parts have fairly fresh paint on them.
-
You can get shipping boxes from places like your local U-Haul, or a local business supply store.
-
It is best to wrap your parts in a "bubble" type wrap, then use Styrofoam "peanuts" as filler.
-
Be sure and use good sturdy boxes for packing.
-
We prefer sending your parts to us via UPS ground (or Fex Ex equiv.), then when we ship the parts back to you, pay for 2nd or 3rd day UPS (or FedEx equiv.). This way your parts do not sit around in a cardboard box for a week or so.
So when you are dropping off your parts, if you plan on having us ship them back to you 2nd or 3rd day, be sure and check the price out then, since UPS will have to take measurements and weights. Even though you are checking a 2nd or 3rd day price to send your parts down here, it should be the same price for your parts coming back to you.
This way, you can add the shipping charge to your final balance.
-
We highly recommend purchasing insurance to have your parts shipped. I believe UPS charges approx .60 for each $100. The first $100 is on them.
-
We require that you pay 1/2 up front (personal check is fine), then the balance, plus shipping upon completion of your job. You will need to pay with a certified check or a money order for the balance+shipping. If you plan on paying by credit care, we will need your info a few days before we send the parts out to make sure the credit card transaction goes through.
-
If you plan on paying with credit card, we will need the credit card number, name on the card, billing address, and expiration date.
-
Included in your job, is what we call "Progress Reports". A Progress Report is an email that will include a set of photos of your parts during the process of your paint job. You will get up to 2 sets of these. The second Progress report will be photos of your parts done. This is when you will need to send out the final payment+shipping+insurance.
Note: If you are only having a flame job over your original paint, or you have a very small shob for us, you will only get photos of the final product.

Please mark the front of your front fender by placing a piece of tape on the underside with "front" on it. Some fenders are very hard to tell the front from the rear.
